Pelikan M800 Burnt Orange Special Edition using M800 18K 0.7mm CI inked with Pelikan Edelstein Apricot Achat (Ink of the Year 2025)

Well it has been a while since I relaunched the site. The big event in the Pelikan calendar occurred in the meantime - The Pelikan Hubs. For various reasons I had not been to one in two years. The 2025 Brisbane edition was very familiar to me, lots of old friends, some people I met for the first time and a new ink of the year.

Apricot Achat the 2025 is a less than exciting edition in my humble opinion, but I can’t be too harsh as Pelikan have been going at these “precious stone” themed inks for many years and adding new colours as Ink of the Year since 2012.

For its first time in use I teamed it with my M800 Burnt Orange and a Richard Binder grind 0.7mm CI.
